Founded in 2008, Mandarin Zone School is a Chinese language school in Beijing that provides effective language training as well as other culture related service to non-native-speakers. Our core programs are as follows:
- Teaching Chinese language, both spoken and written (4 aspects), to students from abroad and from Beijing;
- Chinese summer camp for children and teenagers;
- HSK preparation courses;
- Chinese corporate programs for professionals in Beijing;
- Online Chinese course;
Communicative Teaching Method
We focus on improving students′ ability to communicate in Chinese, with a high emphasis placed on a more communicative method.This means that during class teachers will create, through active teacher-student communication, an enjoyable and learning-focused environment to expand what the students′ have learned. Students′ language skills are enhanced through practice with the teacher and classmates in simulated situations, such as interesting conversational role play, games etc. By practicing with maximum opportunity to speak Chinese, students′ ability to communicate in Chinese greatly improves.
With 10+ years of experience in teaching Mandarin Chinese, we suggest students’ start speaking from the very beginning, learning Chinese character recognition and writing at a later stage.
We are very much focused on getting our students to pay high attention to their pronunciation. No matter which level you are in, we make sure your pronunciation is correct.
OUR TEACHERS
Our Chinese language teachers are specialized in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, having more than 5-10+ years teaching experiences along with being able to speak good English. Some have received a PhD degree in Chinese and the Certification in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (Advanced). Furthermore, others staff have attended Chinese training programs that are run by American universities(IUP, Columbia, PIB, etc.). They have profound theoretical knowledge, a rich experience and are passionate about teaching Chinese as a Second Language. Their passion and learning background is then combined with our ‘Communicative Methodology’ to ensure our high quality Chinese teaching.

OUR ADVANTAGES
Since 2008 we have had the chance to teach Chinese Language to people from all over the world, teaching differnt age groups from beginner to advanced, from students are made up of those with a variety of professional majors and those from different industries, mainly from Embassies and large enterprises. Because of this we have gain a rounded rexperiences that thus allows us to cater fully to the individual needs of the students. We have pasinate and qualified teachers that have worked here for many years and who are able to develop and adapt the right teaching method based on the students needs.
One of the main reasons why many students choose us it’s because of our… students! In fact, most of our students know Mandarin Zone through word of mouth: and no, we didn’t have any promotion related to bringing a friend (maybe in future we should establish one).
A huge attraction to studying her is the face that we are conveniently located in Sanlitun Embassy’s Area (2 minutes walking from Tuanjiehu Subway Station Exit B): all the foreign embassies and many international companies are here, and this is probably the most famous hangout for foreigners in Beijing. Using the subway is the most convenient way to move around in Beijing and, when the classes are over, our students are already in an area where they can find everything: restaurants, shopping malls, supermarkets, bars, clubs and much more.
