What teaching method do you use?
We use the Communicative Teaching Method. This means maximum speaking time through role-play, games, and simulated real-life situations. For beginners, teachers use English, pictures, and gestures. As your level increases, more Chinese is used until it becomes the primary language of instruction.
How qualified are your teachers?
All teachers hold university degrees in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, with 5-10+ years of experience. Many have advanced TCSOL certification. They all speak fluent English and are passionate about helping foreigners learn Chinese.
How do you determine my Chinese level?
Before you arrive, you’ll have a free assessment via Zoom, Skype, or WeChat. We’ll ask some questions and have a basic conversation to understand your current level and goals. Your lessons in Beijing will be prepared based on this assessment.
What visa do I need? Do you help with visas?
Any legal Chinese visa works — tourist (L) visa is fine for short-term study and is easiest to obtain. Many countries now have visa-free access to China. We can provide invitation letters if needed for your visa application. Contact us if you need help.
Do you provide airport pickup?
Yes! We can arrange airport pickup and drop-off. Just indicate this on your registration form. The service is charged separately from the course fee.
What about accommodation?
We partner with carefully selected homestay families and hotels. Homestays include breakfast and dinner — a great way to practice Chinese daily! All accommodation is within 30 minutes of the school by subway. See our accommodation page for details.
How do I pay?
From abroad: Bank transfer, Western Union, or PayPal in EUR or USD.
In Beijing: Cash, bank card, WeChat Pay, or Alipay in CNY.
Bank service fees are the responsibility of the student.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes! All students receive a completion certificate at the end of their course, documenting your study duration and level achieved.
